INTRODUCTION:
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Magnum Express & Logistics Pvt. Ltd. (“Magnum Express”, “we”, “our”, “us”) relating to international courier and logistics services.
By booking a shipment, requesting a pickup, or using our website or services, the customer (“you”, “shipper”, “consignor”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
Magnum Express provides international courier and logistics services including, but not limited to:
• Document and parcel shipments
• Commercial and non-commercial consignments
• E-commerce and cross-border shipments
• Pickup coordination, transportation, customs documentation support, and delivery facilitation
Services may be performed through Magnum Express’s self-operated network and authorised third-party international courier partners.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:
Magnum Express acts solely as a logistics service provider and does not claim ownership, responsibility, or interest in the contents of any shipment.
The shipper is fully responsible for the accuracy of shipment details, declared contents and value, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and customs requirements.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SHIPMENTS:
Magnum Express reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any shipment at any stage if the shipment contents, documentation, packaging, or handling requirements are found to be non-compliant, unsafe, prohibited, or inconsistent with declared information.
Such action may be taken without liability to Magnum Express.
PROHIBITED & RESTRICTED ITEMS:
Shipments containing prohibited or restricted items as per Indian law, destination country regulations, airline rules, or courier partner policies are strictly not accepted.
DECLARATION & CUSTOMS COMPLIANCE:
* All shipment details must be accurately declared
* Misdeclaration may result in delays, penalties, seizure, or confiscation
* Customs duties, taxes, or import charges (if applicable) are payable by the consignee, unless agreed otherwise in writing
* Magnum Express is not responsible for delays caused by customs or regulatory authorities
CHARGES & PRICING:
Shipment charges are calculated based on actual weight or volumetric weight (whichever is higher), destination, service type, and selected courier network.
Additional charges may apply, including:
• Fuel surcharge
• Remote area surcharge
• Docket or handling charges
• Customs-related charges
All applicable taxes, including 18% GST, shall be charged as per government regulations.
PAYMENT TERMS:
Payments must be made only to authorised official accounts of Magnum Express.
Magnum Express shall not be liable for payments made to unauthorised or third-party accounts. Accepted payment modes may include NEFT, IMPS, UPI, or other approved methods.
PACKING & HANDLING:
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Magnum Express is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such external sites.
• Proper packing is the responsibility of the shipper unless professional packing services are availed • Specialised packing or remote pickups may require additional handling time • Shipments picked up from non-metro or remote locations may require 1–3 additional working days
LIABILITY & LIMITATION:
Magnum Express provides logistics and courier services through its own operations and authorised third-party carriers. Under no circumstances shall Magnum Express be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage, delay, theft, destruction, miss delivery, or non-delivery of shipments, whether partial or complete, howsoever caused, including but not limited to natural calamities, force majeure events, acts or omissions of customs or government authorities, airlines, courier partners, carriers, improper packing, or misdeclaration.
All shipments are handled entirely at the shipper’s sole risk. Magnum Express does not assume ownership or responsibility for the contents of any shipment at any stage.
Magnum Express shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, profits, or reputational damage.
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Magnum Express disclaims all liability. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, if any, it shall be limited strictly to the minimum extent required under applicable regulations.
INSURANCE:
Shipment insurance is available upon request and subject to declared value and insurer terms. In the absence of insurance, shipments travel entirely at the shipper’s risk.
THIRD-PARTY NETWORKS:
Services may be executed through third-party courier and logistics networks. Magnum Express’s liability, where applicable, shall not exceed the liability limits defined by the respective service provider or applicable international conventions.
DELIVERY & TRACKING:
• Delivery timelines are indicative and not guaranteed • Tracking details are shared after shipment dispatch • Tracking visibility depends on the assigned service network
FORCE MAJEURE:
Magnum Express shall not be held liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war, government restrictions, or airline and network disruptions.
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION:
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi.
MODIFICATIONS:
Magnum Express reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The latest version published on the website shall be applicable.
